FOR NATURE & FOREST THERAPY GUIDE
This website was created through a co-creative process, thoughtfully shaped to reflect Monique’s work, her presence, and the land where she lives and guides.
We drew inspiration from the high desert landscape of New Mexico to create a soft, earthy color palette, and carefully curated imagery that honors the beauty of her surroundings. A subtle topographical map texture was added to the background of select sections, creating a quiet reference to the land without overwhelming the design.
Together, we selected fonts that feel personal and natural, including a gentle script that suggests an organic, hand-drawn quality. The site includes an Events page where Monique can share upcoming forest and nature therapy walks, and space for both local and online offerings.
The result is a calm, grounded, spacious website that welcomes visitors into the healing experience of nature and forest therapy.
The process of designing a website with Shelagh was thoroughly organized, yet the flow felt gentle and natural. The experience helped me elucidate my purpose, for myself and what I would like to share with others.
