This summer, come away with the fairies.

Flower Fairy Camp is infused with magic, stories, and creative projects to ignite your child’s imagination.

Flower Fairy Camp will deepen your child’s connection to the Fairy Way which involves:

  • Seeing the magic everywhere by recognizing the beauty and wonder of the natural world

  • Taking care of the Earth, each other, and ourselves

  • Practicing everyday acts of kindness & gratitude

  • Expressing and celebrating our unique sparkle

There will be lots of time for free, imaginative play and exploration.

Flower Fairy Camp is held at my home - called the Red Nest - in the neighbourhood of Renfrew in Calgary.

There is a maximum of six children at the camp.

Flower Fairy Camp includes:

  • Opening and closing circle time filled with fairy stories, sharing, song, and magic

  • Exploration of the natural world - we’ll be meeting lots of flowers every day at camp!

  • Fairy house building & fairy potion making

  • Imaginative fairy games, free play and dress-up

  • Plastic-free fairy arts & crafts, including:

    • Fairy doors

    • Flower stamping

    • Fairy potion making

    • Fairy clay creations

    • Fairy bath salts

    • and more!

  • Fairy yoga

  • Writing notes to the fairies….and receiving fairy letters too!

  • Magic and wonder

Flower Fairy Camp is for children who…

  • are 5 to 9 years old.

  • believe in fairies - real or imaginary.

  • love to play imaginatively.

  • love creating art & crafting.

  • appreciate being in nature to explore and wonder.

  • are able to regulate in a developmentally appropriate way.

Please note that this is not a sports camp or high-intensity activity camp.

It is important to me that Flower Fairy Camp is a satisfying and enriching experience for the children attending.

Meet Shelagh,
Flower Fairy Godmother

Welcome, Fairy Friends! Thank you for stopping by.

I come from a long line of fairy believers. My Irish great-grandmother believed in fairies, and so do I!

For the past four years, I’ve been offering Fairy Camps, both in-person and online, and I absolutely love bringing this magic into the world.

Through these camps, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful it is for children to connect with fairies, magic, and make-believe—sparking creativity, wonder, and joy.

With over 25 years as an educator and a City of Calgary home-based child care license, I also run a weekly after-school program for neighborhood kids, welcoming them into my home one day a week.

I hope you’ll join me in saying YES to fairies!

Camp Dates

Monday, July 14 to Thursday, July 17
9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Camp Location

My home and garden in the inner city community of Renfrew in Calgary.

We will also be visiting a neighbourhood park that is two blocks from my home.

Camp Fees

$375

A small morning snack is included in the camp fees, as well as all of the fairy art supplies.

Refund Policy

There is no credit or refund for missed classes or absences. No credit or refund after the class or camp has begun.

Before the class or camp begins, two months notice is necessary to cancel and receive a refund minus $25 admin fee. Under 2 months notice, you will not receive a refund unless I can find another camper to fill the spot.
